We want to say “thank you” for all of your patience in letting us get lunch and dinner at boom up and running before launching a full weekend breakfast assault, but it’s time for some Benedicts!
Starting this saturday we are happy to introduce breakfast at our U-Village location along with our opening game Husky Tailgate Party that begins at 1pm and goes until game time.
We will be listening carefully to your feedback over the coming months, but as a firing shot take a look at what we have in store for you here.
Looking forward to seeing you Saturdays and Sundays between 8:30am to 11am.
It’s a known fact in the land of Boom that anyone would be hard pressed to find a bigger Husky fan than Chef Hunt. If he hadn’t chosen the profession of cuisine we are sure he would have taken any job available assisting the Dawgs. Needless to say, when the decision was made to open in the U-Village it was clear we were going to hold a tailgate party for every home game.
More details to come next week, but if you are going to the Syracuse game at 4pm, come on down to boom. We promise some great grub and drink before what will surely be a win for the Dawgs.
Oh shoot! We were really trying to roll out breakfast this weekend at UV, but unfortunately we are still waiting on some critical equipment to make everything run smoothly. Hopefully next week, but we’ll keep you posted!
We just went through a little run-through for breakfast at the U-Village location and we should be good and ready to go the weekend of the 17th and 18th of July. For those of you have been wondering what breakfast at boom will be like take a look at some of the snapshots of a few items you can expect to find. We’re looking forward to seeing you.
Okay, a grand opening announcement without a picture to go along with it is just wrong, but fear not we will have some soon. We had a fun soft opening yesterday in the day followed by an opening to the public which was great primer for our first full day of being open. Hope to see everyone soon.
Looking for boom? It’s on the south side of Barnes & Noble.
About a year ago we were introduced to an incredible lighting designer from Japan named Yuri Kinoshita. At that time we didn’t have a project that suited her talents, but this year with the creating of boom in the U-Village we asked if she would be willing to create some of her art and she said yes! Take a look at the progress of the first piece recently finished.
(And sorry for the crappy resolution. I don’t get why flip video struggles with compression the way it does)
You have your own brand of instant ramen in Japan–and you’re not Japanese!
Yes, Ivan, you have more than arrived. To this day we still owe a lot to Ivan Ramen. When Chef Hunt first started to dig into the world of Ramen making Ivan was kind enough to take him under his wings. Seeing this shot of his Instant Ramen (provided by Jay at Gastrolust) was truly inspiring.
Looks like it’s time for a trip to Tokyo to give it a try.
Seattle may not have a masters program in film, but at least we have SIFF! Once again we are proud to be a SIFF sponsor and look forward to seeing all of you film fans at boom for some good times at the official SIFF Lounge. Watch a movie then come on by for some food and drink. In the meantime, have a look at the trailer for this year’s festival.
